When it comes to Apple products, sadly, they have been behind-the-times in terms of SATA 3.0.  All of their products still use SATA 2.0 with the exception of the brand new Macbook Pro, which has one SATA 3.0 port on it for the hard drive.  Great news, Apple seems to finally be coming around!  Well, it would be great news except that as of this moment, for some reason that port is not working...
